Moderators and Hype-Persons wanted

Figure we should try to promote from in-house first.

I think T.O.S could use some moderators and/or hype people. They don't necessarily need to be separate positions.

My idea for thy hype people is to garner more members. Tell your friends, family members, co-workers, fellow students, local band members, etc. about our community and try to get them to bring in some more heads to put together to increase discussion.

We don't have too many people here yet and none are out-of-control a*holes or anything, so the moderator title might not really fit just yet. For this position what I have in mind is more of just someone in charge of particular sections of the site, say a particular genre, time period or whatever. The moderator powers (whatever those are...I'm not all that up on forum moderation powers and whatnot) would be in effect, but the main idea would be to stimulate discussion and improve that section of the site. This could be starting topics, posting related news items, organizing events or whatever.


If anyone is interested in either position, please either post or send me a PM with what position you would like and, if you want, what your ideas would be for filling it. You can be either position, both, in charge of multiple areas and more than one person can be involved with any area.
